Adored my first Kevin Wilson novel SO much! I guess there are elements of humour; like the sign Rube and Mad could have held up..but for me it was all about the poignancy; it’s such a big hearted novel.
What a lovely exploration of sibling love and loneliness, the love a child has for a parent, the way absence shapes…gorgeous story and gosh what a quest! I love everything about it; landscape, characters, themes…wish it was longer, I want more time. Love a found family novel
