A beautiful meditation on grief, love, solitude and forgiveness, life…it feels like all of the big feels are here. Although it is a masterpiece, and obviously a five star read, I can’t say I found the mouse plague, chicken killing, chickens eating mice and mice eating birds was enjoyable hahaha but it is beautiful, and there are so many scenes that I won’t ever forget; lying in the sun, walking in a garden…yeah the mouse plague was hard reading, months after my second read and I still stand by it haha
