You had better believe as I closed Writers & Lovers I was opening Heart the Lover.. I was going to have a few books between them but hey, the heart wants what it wants…this was another cracker of a novel; a novel that just reads itself.
It’s beautiful, whimsical, nostalgic and just masterfully done. It’s made me feel so sentimental for a 20s i did not have even hahaha
Not at all what I was expecting, but so cathartic…iykyk 😂
It is a sequel/ prequel and I would imagine it would stand up as a read alone.. but why would you miss out on the genius of Lily King!
