Beautiful. Love every thing about it. SO glad to have found Lily King. So special I honestly felt (although I did have the grace to laugh at myself while thinking it..) this novel was written for me. Waitressing and doing the hard slough? Of course it isn’t just me that has been there! That loneliness and getting behind on debt regardless of how hard you are working…arhh common to everyone I am sure…but this novel felt so personal, like looking in my own diary from yesteryear and I wonder if that is the magic of Lily King, because I know I am not the only one this special novel spoke to!
And how, when I have been a reader longer than not did no one tell me to pick up a Lily King? Right time, right novel I guess but gosh I am glad Heart the Lover was the phenomenon it was!!!!!! I didn’t even know Lily King was missing from my reading life!
