I adored this novel and am jealous of people who haven’t read it yet. My mum was doing some foster caring a few years ago now and gosh I just want to give this novel to those kids (although would that feel worse..) What a masterpiece. I’ve got a page of beautiful lines..’I love you. I believe in you.’ ‘Ali came running, like a blinding light. Like a heart attack..’ such a special book I am SO glad I know what it’s like to swim with your people at 15
