I lost count of how many times I laughed out loud. This was hilarious. So much obviously to say about the echo chamber of the digital grid, the age of political correctness and the meaningless of likes..it was all so ridiculously done and i can’t imagine anyone not finding this so funny.. the national treasure, speaking as a mother, the body’s natural cleansing process…
Of course I researched (hahaha googled) the controversy around John Boyne as soon as I finished reading and the fact that this novel is written as a reaction to that cancelling of him is the best revenge ever! It is laughing at wokeness gone too far, at the cancel culture and keyboard warriors in a fun, funny and clever way..
I instantly bought a copy for my brother, he’ll love it
