A beautifully written novel about sisterhood, grief and addiction. I was completely there for it from page 1. I have 3 sisters myself and adore books that explore that ‘tough, sinuous, unlovely, yet essential’ bond. Thankfully I have only vicarious experience of addiction, but I could feel it while it ‘whirled through all of them like electricity through a circuit’. I really feel I’ve gotten to hang out in New York (and also bits of Paris/ London and Venice Beach; talk about armchair travel) with sisters who are grieving and adjusting to life without their sister..‘going lightly’…completely loved it and was super stoked to have received an ARC!
