I couldn’t have loved this one more! And funnily enough I was wondering the other day how my friend the chef was going now…hahaha it took me a while to realise the friend I was hoping was going well was the main character Pierce from this novel…
I loved every step of watching Sam and Pierce met and the will they or won’t they..ahhh so lovely. I loved being back in Settler’s Bridge. I loved being in the world of hospitality; that was so fun! Sam is in an abusive marriage when we first met her and I can imagine that would be triggering for some readers, but I thought it was really sensitively handled.i just love everything about a Lèonie Kelsall novel! My favourite yet
