Gosh it never ceases to amaze me how many different ways there are to live! Minnie’s way could not have been more opposite to my own and oh my goodness was I there for the adventure! She and her much younger brother’s immigration from England to Australia would have been enough for me..but to go on and become opal miners in Coober Pedy was the stuff of legend! What a trailblazer! What adventure! What a great biography!!! This was such an enjoyable, entertaining read I devoured! Thank you so much for the gifted copy Allen and Unwin, I loved it!! Definitely one for the Bee’s Knees, there is so much to talk through because Minnie squeezed so much in!
