What a story! There is not one thing I didn’t love. I love the 80s storyline; ‘the fingerless lace gloves and long strands of fake pearls’, the very 2017-ness of the 2017 storyline. The setting and descriptions the ‘cluster of people in matching black puffer jackets, all carrying paper cones of steaming fish and chips wandered past’ tell me I’m not the only one who slightly turned to smell those fish and chips!! It’s a really well done storyline, it’s pretty complicated and a twist I DID NOT see coming..but it never felt manufactured or soapy..what a great character based mysterious thriller!!!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait for another Jo Dixon!!!! I just could not put it down!!!!!
