So brilliant. I could feel the dirt in my ears. It really does have a remarkable sense of place; Jane Harper is spot on. It couldn’t be anywhere else. The twisties, tiny teddies and dunkaroos, the ice cream tub and tracing shames..it couldn’t have been any one else’s story, Ronnie and Esther are year six girls. Female friendship is a big part of the story, and I was completely there for it. I just cannot wait to immerse myself in whatever Hayley Schrivenor writes next. This is just so well done!!!
