SO much fun!! Just such a soap opera of a novel that I kept trying to put down because it’s just a soap opera right??? Over the top wealth and over the top wealthy people problems..like mysterious pregnancies and marriage proposals hahaha it did have lots to say about ‘wealth inequality (being) one of our planet’s greatest problems’ and racism; bless that Arabella ‘Chinese mothers show love through criticism…’ ‘stop being so selfish and marry that man…’ but to be honest I was there for the pretty dresses, beautiful locations and fancy totes…It was such a fun read that for me was the perfect book at the perfect time!!
