This felt like it was written for me. Lots of waitressing references, lots of striving without actually getting anywhere feels (universal themes amiright..) I thought the writing was absolutely perfect; beautiful sentences without being overwritten..just such a beautiful discussion on grief and loneliness. Beautiful. Love every thing about it. SO glad to have found Lily King. How is it I have done nothing but read and yet I have only just found Lily King..I would have loved this at any stage of life and just have that sense of lucky to have found it now.
