This memoir was making a huge splash when I first started at Dymocks, that beautifully yellow tactile cover just called to me from the shelves. I bought myself a copy and it had sat beautifully on my bedside table for the right moment.. When I did pick it up gosh I wish they had had these types of books around when I was younger. It is like nothing I’ve ever read before! Like a heartfelt chat with an old comfortable friend. But also I did feel like 15 years older than the friend..through lots I just wanted to take her aside and hug her!! Your early 30s are hard and I think this book captures that. So heartfelt! Loved it!!
