This has got to be Sally Hepworth’s darkest novel yet. I completely give it all the stars. This is such a worthy novel. It’s everything you expect in a Sally Hepworth; it’s fast, it’s dark, there are twists in the twists..but this is also about fostering, childhood, sisters and luck. It just gave me so much to think about and real insights into other peoples lives. Everything I want in a novel. Can’t recommend it more highly. It is sad, and it does have red life ramifications you’ll be thinking over.. but I definitely recommend it!
