I wouldn’t have read this one if not for bookclub. This is my first Stephen King. I didn’t know much about the 22nd of November 1963. I knew the basics, the pink suit covered in brains and the conspiracy theories but I had to check I had the gunman’s name. But this novel!!!!! I was fascinated by this subject matter. It’s got big themes, but for a novel that is as all about the assassination and the physics of time travel it was also all about music, friendship, community, and love. I get it now, what a storyteller Stephen King is> Absolutely loved it and could have read it twice the length! |
