I loved it. I don’t think The Little Paris Bookshop has a patch on this novel. I loved and knew Henri, Sam, Eddie and Madelyn. I even loved and knew Edward, Shelia and Steve with his fanman attempts. Everyone is so complete and real. I loved reading more about the synergetic experience and I had no idea how painful it would be to come out of a coma. It tackles the big themes of love, souls and life. My younger self would have loved it! It’s insightful, whimsical and lovely; the ‘soul snuggling’ and that toy microphone…ahhh |
