I just didn’t connect with this one. I felt like we were laughing at the college bribery scandal, except that it wasn’t presented as funny…I felt like we were laughing at the state of plastic surgery, except they wasn’t present as funny either…I don’t know if it’s just because it’s 2021, but I really felt it missed the mark, although I’m sure Lauren Weisberger knows better than me, it just didn’t feel like the beach read I was hoping for |
