WHAT A RIDE!! I’m completely not an 80s aficionado, I can’t remember the last time I played a video game..but I could not put this down. I’m sure I missed a heap of inside jokes and references 🙄 but what isn’t to love about a coming of age quest of good vs evil? Not just characters I knew and loved- love love love that Wade Owen Watts x but themes of loneliness, connection, belonging, hiding, fear.. socialism v capitalism..completely relatable and universal. COULD NOT put it down |
